Privacy Policy — Morning

Effective date: 29 January 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vanessa Lucena collects, uses, and shares information when you use Morning (the “App”).

Who this app is for

Morning helps you plan and track your daily routines. We aim to minimise data collection by default.

If you have questions about this policy or your child’s use of the App, contact us at vanluhurla@gmail.com.

Information the app stores on your device

Morning does not require you to create an account.

Your routine content and progress are stored on your device using Apple’s on-device storage (SwiftData). If you enable iCloud, your routine data may be synced using CloudKit (iCloud private database).

Examples of content you create/maintain in the App include:

  • Routine details you enter (such as routine titles, icons, and durations)
  • Per-day completion/attempt progress
  • Your in-app display name (entered during onboarding)

Information we collect

We collect only what’s needed to operate Morning and manage subscriptions.

Support emails

If you contact us at vanluhurla@gmail.com, we receive the information you send (such as your email address and message contents) so we can respond and provide support.

Subscription and purchase information (via Apple + RevenueCat)

The App offers subscription access through Apple In-App Purchase and uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.

As part of providing this service, RevenueCat may process information such as:

  • Purchase/receipt data and subscription/entitlement status
  • Technical identifiers used for entitlement management and fraud/security purposes (for example, app/device identifiers and IP address)

We do not receive your full payment details—payments are processed by Apple.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App
  • Enable subscription features and check/restore subscription status
  • Respond to support requests
  • Protect security and prevent fraud/abuse related to purchases
  • Deliver reminders (notifications) when enabled

Notifications (local reminders)

If you enable reminders in the App, we request notification permission and schedule local notifications on your device (no notification content is uploaded to our servers).

Photos access (save your routine cards)

The App requests Photos permission using iOS authorisation (add-only). With your permission, you can choose to save generated “routine cards” to your Photos library.

We do not automatically share your content to Photos; saving happens only when you select the relevant action in the App.

Sharing to social apps

Morning includes sharing features (e.g., sharing/saving routine cards).

  • Sharing uses iOS system sharing flows and/or the selected third-party app.
  • When sharing via certain methods (such as Instagram Stories), the App may use the system pasteboard as part of the handoff.

We do not sell personal information. However, third-party apps you share with (such as social platforms) may collect and use your information according to their own privacy policies.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. However, we may share information only:

  • With service providers needed to run subscriptions (for example, RevenueCat and Apple for in-app purchases)
  • If required by law or to protect our rights, safety, and security
  • In the event of a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), with appropriate safeguards

Children’s privacy

Morning is designed to help you plan and track your daily routines, and does not require user accounts.

If you are a parent or guardian, we recommend you review and manage app usage and subscriptions on the device. If your child uses Morning, their routine content and progress are stored on the device (and may sync via iCloud if enabled).

Data retention

  • Routine data and progress: kept on your device until you delete it (for example, by removing routines) or you uninstall the App. If iCloud sync is enabled, your routine data may also be retained in your iCloud account according to your iCloud settings.
  • Support emails: kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and maintain reasonable support records (unless you request deletion earlier).
  • Subscription entitlements: retained as needed to manage your subscription status and comply with legal/accounting obligations.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. To make a request, email vanluhurla@gmail.com.

You can also manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings.

  • Manage/cancel via your Apple subscriptions settings.

International data transfers

RevenueCat and Apple may process some information in countries outside where you live. When this happens, they use safeguards described in their own privacy documentation.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” at the top when changes are made.
